Six Painless Ways to Save Plenty of Water💧

Rapid increase in world population + decline in freshwater resources + mismanagement and waste of water + uncontrolled pollution = threat to the survival of humanity on earth. Isn't it imperative that we take serious action if we are to prolong human life on this planet? Let's start small - directly from our own household. 1. Repair drip taps The bathroom is the place with the highest water consumption in the house. Leak water 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Did you know that a leaky faucet can waste enough water to fill a bathtub every week, almost 32 liters / day? In most cases, all that is required is an inexpensive washing machine, which is more than sufficient to stop such leaks. 2. Detect leaking toilets Even the smallest leak in your toilet can waste 500 liters of water a day. Regular checks can easily spot invisible leaks. Just add a few drops of food coloring to your toilet tank. Even without a single flush, it means you've successfully investigated a leak i...

FabIndia Clothing Review - My Personal Experience

I just wanted a decent kalamkari kurti. No color, no design and no combination perfectly matched my deep longing.
Amazon / Flipkart / Myntra / Max / Paytm Mall - nothing satisfied my emotional longing. My relentless search never stopped.

Google and the ads

We all know our friend Google and his character. My constant search for a perfect kalamkari was all it took Google. Every page I visited / every link I opened was filled with Kalamkari images of all kinds. Google (Ad) really wanted to sell me one of them. Mind you, I'm not complaining here (maybe in another post) because Google actually tried to help my case. But sorry Google - my perfect combination kept playing to me.

FabIndia Online Shopping Review

Then I came across some branding ads on Facebook. FABINDIA - Oh wow !!! The straight white slub kurta I ordered from FabIndia was of excellent quality. How did I miss FabIndia in my tireless search for "The Perfect Kalamkari"? Maybe Google needs an update!

I immediately googled "Kalamkari kurti FabIndia online" and got a preview of the options to choose from. FABINDIA's design department is second to none. Every single option drove me crazy with longing.

I picked the best design that would go with all of my filters and ordered it. Delhivery courier service was assigned immediately. I tracked my order at least three times a day. So much was my zeal at the thought of seeing my newest love.

The next day I ordered a suitable Palazzo in Max Fashion (inexpensive). The palazzo arrived the day before my beloved kurti and it was just perfect. The next day I didn't have to wait long, Delhivery courier delivered my kurti immediately, early in the morning. I opened it with all patience (without tearing it up) and finally found my love.

I was in all tears "Heartbroken tears". My brand new kurti looked like someone had used it for a decade and packed their used rag neatly in a high quality plastic bag. Please believe me when I say - the quality of the polyethylene bag was compared to my dream kurti -Quality far superior. I cried in silence all night because I dare not confess to anybody (especially my husband - the poor soul who paid for it) that I was heartbroken over a ragged kurti and ridiculed have become.

FabIndia return policy

December 1 (Saturday) - I made a return request for both the kurti and the palazzo (heartless to see this palazzo of my dream kurti lying in pairs). The maximum return request was accepted immediately. FabIndia request was accepted EOD.

December 3 (Monday) - Delhivery was used by both FabIndia and Max Fashion for the collection. The same representative collected both the kurta and the palazzo. I felt my kalamkari madness finally release me.

December 5th (Wednesday) - I paid for Max Fashions through Paytm. I received my refund for the Palazzo safely and quickly on this account.
But for FabIndia I had done a net banking transaction. I checked the status "Delivery" - no update. So I emailed FabIndia and got this response.

"We would like to inform you that the return for your order o12569417 is currently in transit. The refund will be made after we have confirmed receipt and quality inspection of the returned item."

December 7th - No automatic status update in the Delhivery portal and so I had to email FabIndia again.

"We would like to inform you that we will have the status of the return checked by our department concerned.
Ask us to allow us 24-48 business hours. We apologize for the inconvenience. ""

December 10th - Still no update and I have sent FabIndia again.

"We would like to inform you that we will have the status of the return checked by our department concerned.
Ask us to allow us 24-48 business hours. We apologize for the inconvenience. ""

December 12th - I called FabIndia and asked about the return status. They eventually agreed to send me a priority-processed replacement kurti.

December 13th - No update. No answering of calls. Callback service - not functional.

December 15th - After countless calls and emails. The replacement product is now being shipped. Let's see the quality of this product.

December 17th - The replacement has finally ...
