Dussehra - Well known Beliefs & Little known Science


The people of India have a great bond with their religious affairs. What we need to understand is that Indian traditions have always had their roots in scientific grounds.


Why do they say "The sun doesn't rise" during Dussehra?


Belief 1 - It comes from a Sanskrit word Dasha + Hara, which literally means the defeat of the sun. It was said that the sun would not have risen if Ravana had not been defeated by Rama.

Healthy Ladoos for Kids in 8 Easy steps

This Laddu is a healthy and tasty snack for children. Ingredients: Urad Dal - 1 cup Green gram - 1/2 cup Fried gram - 1/3 cup Peanuts - 1/3 cup Badam - few Cashew nuts - few Jaggery - as needed Preparation: 1.
