Six Painless Ways to Save Plenty of Water💧

Rapid increase in world population + decline in freshwater resources + mismanagement and waste of water + uncontrolled pollution = threat to the survival of humanity on earth. Isn't it imperative that we take serious action if we are to prolong human life on this planet? Let's start small - directly from our own household. 1. Repair drip taps The bathroom is the place with the highest water consumption in the house. Leak water 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Did you know that a leaky faucet can waste enough water to fill a bathtub every week, almost 32 liters / day? In most cases, all that is required is an inexpensive washing machine, which is more than sufficient to stop such leaks. 2. Detect leaking toilets Even the smallest leak in your toilet can waste 500 liters of water a day. Regular checks can easily spot invisible leaks. Just add a few drops of food coloring to your toilet tank. Even without a single flush, it means you've successfully investigated a leak i...

amazon try on session!

Today I have a new Amazon try-on ... I swear I go into a rabbit hole there sometimes! Today I have some sweaters from some of my favorite brands on Amazon. Since navigating Amazon can be so overwhelming, I have a few specific brands in mind when I shop. These are the brands I've bought before that I love ... so there aren't too many surprises. I'm going to say today that there are some very clear winners and losers. Which is not too rare at Amazon. Some of the articles are really great ... so let's take a look!

Thoughts: I actually ordered the beige color this late winter and the color was weird to me. I love the white a lot more and the cut is fabulous. Slightly narrower cut, a small puff sleeve detail on the sleeve and nice cables.
Size: I went small with my usual size.

Thoughts: I love this sweater ... but. The fabric is great, the cut is great, but the color is so weird. It is described as a "camel," but it is much more of a dingy brown. I would definitely go back for this one in any of the other colors. It's so cute for fall and goes well with jeans but also goes well with leggings. There is NO wool in this one so it doesn't itch at all.
Size: Runs very tall, I'm small in my usual size but would need an XS. I strongly recommend going down a size.
Styled with: T-shirt, Jeans, Mules

Thoughts: Okay, this is so cute and a little out of line for me. The fabric is really unique and beautiful. This would be beautifully topped off with a utility jacket or trench coat to really show off the frill neck detail. It has no wool either, so no itching!
Size: I got my usual size small, but that seems a little big. I would consider scaling down if you are between sizes
Styled with: Jeans, Apartments

Thoughts: This is the real winner of all the pieces here. The fabric is just beautiful and without wool, so ideal for early autumn. I love that the fabric lies super flat and falls well. This sweater looks so much more expensive and feels so much more expensive than it is! I highly recommend it! I love the tunic length, which goes so well with leggings for a casual athleisure look.
Size: I am short in my usual size. Fits true to size.
Styled with: Gaiters, sneakers

Thoughts: Okay, this is pretty, but the color is great for me. The olive green color looks more like brown, which is strange. The sweater is nice and light - great for early fall and the ribs are so pretty. I also love the balloon envelope.
Size: I went small with my usual size. Fits true to size.
Styled with: Jeans,Mules
